Hi! I'm Farha, an artist, designer and animation engineer. While making multiplane animation, frame by frame, I used to tell myself that I wish I could just capture this moment and hold it in my hand - the way backlight would glisten through the layered transparent artworks and would sort of open my heart a bit. That led me to wonder if I could make objects this way.
With a background in film, TV and media, I started experimenting with analog animation in 2021, cel animation, stop motion, paper animation, armature making, and so on, until Disney's classic multiplane technique came into my life and forced open a very tactile, 3D version of animation and layering that pushed me into another journey: bringing these visuals into the physical world. Now, alongside my studio's analog, vintage-inspired goods, I'm developing concepts for large-scale interactive animated games, motorized animations, and immersive visual art.
